The first 3 amazing years together

Kyle and I have been together 3 years as of today :) I am completely amazed at how much a relationship can grow and change and mature in such a little time. It seems hard for me to think back and remember the little moments that make our relationship so special (this could be because it is 1am right now), but all I really know at this moment is I would never ever change a single thing. All the milestones that we have crossed together have brought us to this wonderful 3 years. We have a perfect relationship with the laughs, goofiness, love, and devotion. Even our arguements and grumpy times I cherish, because I know that we will always over come any disagreement and we take those moments to build our relationship even more. So too a wonderful 3 years and hopefully many more. I love you with all my heart my dear. :)

Our Time with Mr. Magoo

So recently Kyle and I had gotten the chance to do some "Baby Practicing".
My brother and Sister-in-law were gracious enough to let us babysit their youngest son (who we nicknamed Mr. Magoo) for a whole week. He is 7 months and the most smiley happy boy I have ever met.
We had such a blast with him and had only one day of frusturating times. Oh the reason we nicknamed him Mr. Magoo is because he is such a carefree child. It didnt matter to him where we took him or who else he was with, he had a blast the entire time. And we did so many things that I know I will love the beginning new born stage but I will also be waiting for my little one to grow and I will enjoy them watching and learning new things just as I enjoyed my nephew watch and learn new things in the week that we had him.
We took him to the beach for an afternoon, and to the splash park, we also took him to the parade and spent an afternoon/early evening celebrating Kyles birthday with family and friends. He was such a blast to take care of and I can only hope that my child will be as easy as he was.

A New Life Begins

Life has takin a whole new turn for me and Kyle. We recently found out that we are going to be parents :) I am currently 6 weeks along (according to the doctors calculations). I found out on Monday July 5th, at work. I decided to just take a pee test and find out. It was positive and my mind instantly started thinking of everything that would need to be done, telling parents and family, buying cribs and strollers, and figuring out costs of everything that comes with a baby.
Kyle was completely taking by surprise when I called him at work to tell him. He practically hung up the phone on me because he was in such shock. But after having time to digest the news he said he was very happy and glad the he was going to be a daddy. We are both very excited
Then another surprise came flying my way when on Sunday July 11 Kyle gave me this beautiful rock of a ring. We were celebrating our 2nd year anniversary at the Country Charm Resort when Kyle took out his guitar and sang me a beautiful song (True Companions by Mark Cohn). After his song he told me how much he longed to be a wonderful husband and father to me and our baby, then asked me to marry him. I practically jumped on top of him with kisses and of course I said yes. I should mention that Kyle had this proposal planned out before we even found out that we were having a baby. It has definately been a very exciting couple of weeks.
So we told our family on Monday July 12. There were some super excited responses and some very upset responses. But I have decided that this is our life, and even though we do appreciate other peoples opinions and advice we will be making the decisions for our life on our own.

Update

So kyle and I have been talking for quite a while about living together. At first we were not ready and needed to save up some money. But I've been wanting to move out for a long time, so a couple days ago Kyle finally said he was ready to move out. We started looking online right away. First we found a house that we called, but was completely disappointed when we found out it was only an upstairs suite (it said it was the whole house). Then we found another upstairs and downstairs suite (both was available) we went to look and it looked great. It was an open concept and only $625/month. We got the papers and were gonna hand them in until Kyle said he wants to keep looking. So unfortunately we are still looking. We found a townhouse which is $725 and we thought it would be pretty good. I tried calling the guy today but unfortunately he still hasnt answered his phone and I'm starting to get anxious cuz I want to find a place and move out but I dont want to settle for just anything, I want the perfect place for us. So I'm definately going to have to work on growing my patientice and just keep looking until we find a place.

Our 1 year anniversary

So our 1yr was way back in June 2009. But I only got the pictures now and I decided to post the pictures anyway.

Kyle surprised me with a lovely night at the Country Charm Resort. It was so beautiful there and I would definately love to go there again. Kyle also made me a wonderful meal with chicken, spinach salad and baked potatoes. And the best part of the meal, chocolate covered strawberries!!

We had a wonderful HUGE jucuzzi tub. It was so amazing sitting in there with our mudslide drinks and the strawberries. Oh how wonderful :)

He also bought some
wonderful champaign
which tasted pretty good.
What a romantic guy <3>

My First Weekend Off

This last weekend was Amazing!! I finally got a whole weekend off work and I couldnt have been happier. Kyle devoted basically his whole weekend to me.
First my mom and I went to the city for a little bit of window shopping. Then she took me to this amazing Asian Bistro called Hue's on First. The food was great. (and we had a cute waiter :) )
Kyle came over friday evening, and after saying good-bye to mom and Rick (they went to the cabin) we called up one of my girlfriends and went to visit with her and her husband. He bought me some coolers (one of my fav drinks) and didnt complain about my semi-annoying friends just to make sure I was having a good time. :)
Saturday Kyle took me to the museum of man and nature (I've been asking to go for a while). It was completely and totally amazing!! And definately one of the best dates I have ever been on. We spent 4hrs walking through the museum and Kyle held my hand the entire time :) He even comforted me through all the scary parts (if you know me, you know I get scared Extremely easy). Unfortunately I didnt take my camera along cuz i didnt know if it was allowed, but Kyle agreed to take me again at sometime.
After we walked through the museum we went downstairs to the planetium (idk how to spell it) and watched a show called "Manitoba Skies". It was just about some of the basic stars that we can see at night. (This part was mostly for Kyle)
When we left we thought we would go to Mongo's Grill (one of my fav places and the only thing i can eat). But decided to drive home instead and cook at home. We stopped by Superstore and bought steak and veggies and made an amazing supper.
Then decided we would rent a movie and relax at home. We rented the movie "Coraline" (which I would not recommend). It was ok.
Kyle also gave me the most wonderful massage. It was incredibly relaxing and I even started drooling and falling asleep :)
Sunday morning Kyle bought eggs and some more veggies from Crossroads and made some very healthy and yummy omletes.
This weekend was one of the best I ever had. I got to hang out with some friends, had a wonderful date, and have a boyfriend that is completely romantic, passionate, caring, and devoted :)
